Gymnema muelleri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Northern Territory timur laut hingga Queensland utara-tengah. Nama ilmiah Gymnema muelleri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1868.
