Gymnosphaera andersonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga China (Yunnan) dan Myanmar utara. Nama ilmiah Gymnosphaera andersonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Scott pada tahun 1983.
