Gymnosporia senegalensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Gymnosporia senegalensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1893.
