Gynoxys hypomalaca merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Bolivia (La Paz). Nama ilmiah Gynoxys hypomalaca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1922.
