Gynura longifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Thailand utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Gynura longifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Arthur Francis George Kerr pada tahun 1935.
