Gynura papillosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari São Tomé. Nama ilmiah Gynura papillosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Michel Gandoger pada tahun 1918.
