Gypsophila elegans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan showy baby's-breath. Nama ilmiah Gypsophila elegans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich August Marschall von Bieberstein pada tahun 1808.
