Gyrostemon sheathii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Gyrostemonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Barat bagian selatan Australia. Nama ilmiah Gyrostemon sheathii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Vincent Fitzgerald pada tahun 1902.
