Hackelia besseyi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bessey's stickseed. Nama ilmiah Hackelia besseyi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Axel Rydberg pada tahun 1974.
