Haematoxylum campechianum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Honduras. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan logwood, campeachy wood, blackwood, atau blood wood tree. Nama ilmiah Haematoxylum campechianum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
