Halodule wrightii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cymodoceaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air (hidrofit) dan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shoalweed. Nama ilmiah Halodule wrightii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Friedrich August Ascherson pada tahun 1868.
