Hancornia speciosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Peru dan Paraguay. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mangabeira. Nama ilmiah Hancornia speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bernardino António Gomes pada tahun 1812.
