Handroanthus chrysotrichus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Bignoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Handroanthus chrysotrichus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1970.
