Handroanthus heptaphyllus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Bignoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil dan Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Handroanthus heptaphyllus diperkenalkan oleh José Mariano da Conceição Vellozo pada tahun 1970.
