Handroanthus impetiginosus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Bignoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tengah hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Handroanthus impetiginosus diperkenalkan oleh Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1970.
