Haplopappus latifolius merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Chili (Coquimbo). Nama ilmiah Haplopappus latifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Friedrich Reiche pada tahun 1901.
