Haplopappus platylepis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Chili (Coquimbo, Valparaíso). Nama ilmiah Haplopappus platylepis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1894.
