Hazardia detonsa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari California (Kepulauan Channel). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan island bristleweed. Nama ilmiah Hazardia detonsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1887.
