Hebenstretia comosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Scrophulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Hebenstretia comosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Ferdinand Friedrich Hochstetter pada tahun 1845.
