Hedyosmum arborescens merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Chloranthaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cigarbush. Nama ilmiah Hedyosmum arborescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
