Helenium atacamense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Chili (Antofagasta hingga Coquimbo). Nama ilmiah Helenium atacamense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ángel Lulio Cabrera pada tahun 1944.
