Helichrysum chasmolycium merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari STürkiye barat daya. Nama ilmiah Helichrysum chasmolycium diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Peter Hadland Davis pada tahun 1956.
