Helichrysum ecklonis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Helichrysum ecklonis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Otto Wilhelm Sonder pada tahun 1865.
