Helichrysum fruticans merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Helichrysum fruticans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David Don pada tahun 1824.
