Helicia odorata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Proteaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua utara. Nama ilmiah Helicia odorata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Ludwig Emil Diels pada tahun 1916.
