Helicia pterygota merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Proteaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Helicia pterygota diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Otto Sleumer pada tahun 1955.
