Heliconia aurantiaca adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Heliconiaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tenggara hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Heliconia aurantiaca diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ambroise Colette Alexandre Verschaffelt pada tahun 1861.
