Helictochloa bromoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Mediterania barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Helictochloa bromoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Antoine Gouan pada tahun 2011.
