Helictotrichon convolutum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tenggara hingga Lebanon. Nama ilmiah Helictotrichon convolutum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1940.
