Helictotrichon delavayi merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Helictotrichon delavayi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1940.
