Helictotrichon desertorum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur-tengah hingga Mongolia. Nama ilmiah Helictotrichon desertorum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Friedrich Lessing pada tahun 1938.
