Heliomeris obscura merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Veracruz, Puebla, Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Heliomeris obscura pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Theodore Dru Alison Cockerell pada tahun 1918.
