Heliotropium petiolare merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Heliotropium petiolare pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 2018.
