Hemarthria compressa (L.f.) R.Br.

Hemarthria compressa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Komoro, Iraq, Jepang selatan dan selatan-tengah, Semenanjung Malaysia, hingga Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Hemarthria compressa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1810.
