Hemionitis lorentzii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Pteridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga tenggara dan Brazil selatan dan Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Hemionitis lorentzii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Hans Emmo Wolfgang Hieronymus pada tahun 2018.
