Hemionitis ludens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Pteridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis hingga Queensland timur laut. Nama ilmiah Hemionitis ludens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 2018.
