Heptapleurum macrostachyum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Heptapleurum macrostachyum diperkenalkan oleh George Bentham pada tahun 1876.
