Heptapleurum obovatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India (Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu). Nama ilmiah Heptapleurum obovatum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Wight pada tahun 1872.
