Heracleum austriacum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Alpen tengah dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Heracleum austriacum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
