Heterotheca pumila adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Wyoming selatan dan New Mexico utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alpine false goldenaster. Nama ilmiah Heterotheca pumila pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1987.
