Heterotheca shevockii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan kern canyon false goldenaster. Nama ilmiah Heterotheca shevockii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John C. Semple pada tahun 1996.
