Heterotheca stenophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Texas (Edwards Plateau). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stiffleaf false goldenaster. Nama ilmiah Heterotheca stenophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1951.
