Heterotheca viscida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona tenggara hingga Texas barat dan Meksiko (Chihuahua). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cliff false goldenaster. Nama ilmiah Heterotheca viscida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1968.
