Hibbertia brownii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Dilleniaceae (suku simpur-simpuran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Northern Territory utara, Queensland Utara. Nama ilmiah Hibbertia brownii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1863.
