Hibiscus ahlensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Somalia utara. Nama ilmiah Hibiscus ahlensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Oskar Eberhard Ulbrich pada tahun 1920.
