Hieracium amplexicaule subsp. atlanticum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Maroko hingga Aljazair. Nama ilmiah Hieracium amplexicaule subsp. atlanticum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elias Magnus Fries pada tahun 1921.
