Hieracium argutum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan southern hawkweed. Nama ilmiah Hieracium argutum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1841.
