Hieracium carpathicum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Eropa utara dan timur-tengah. Nama ilmiah Hieracium carpathicum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilibald Swibert Joseph Gottlieb von Besser pada tahun 1809.
