Hieracium waldsteinii subsp. biokovoense merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Semenanjung Balkan barat laut. Nama ilmiah Hieracium waldsteinii subsp. biokovoense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Árpád von Degen pada tahun 1907.
