Hieracium xanthostylum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Norwegia hingga Swedia. Nama ilmiah Hieracium xanthostylum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gustav Adolf Hugo Dahlstedt pada tahun 1921.
